For conventional fire trucks, water is the core medium for fire fighting and rescue. As the core power unit of the complete water supply system on fire trucks, the vehicle-mounted fire pump directly determines the vehicle’s fire suppression efficiency, water supply pressure and sustained operation stability. Xiongzhen series fire pumps are mainly assembled from pump body, oil filler, water inlet pipe, check valve, double piston priming device, speed measuring gear, gearbox and input shaft. Medium-low pressure variants are further fitted with pneumatic ball valves for medium-low pressure switching, medium-pressure check valves and low-pressure check valves. The unit adopts an integrally cast aluminum pump casing for even water output. Equipped with a double piston priming mechanism, medium-low pressure pumps offer two drive modes for selection: electric drive and belt pulley drive, delivering fast priming and user-friendly operation. The CB10/60-RS truck-mounted fire pump consists of a single-stage low-pressure centrifugal pump, a double-piston vacuum pump, an electromagnetic clutch automatic disengagement device, a speed increaser, an outlet pipeline and shut-off valve, and an inlet pipeline. ♦ Main Structure and Function (1) Single-stage low-pressure centrifugal pump: Composed of a pump cover, pump casing, first-stage impeller, and pump shaft, it provides rated pressure and rated flow. (2) Speed increaser: The speed increaser of the CB10/60-RS vehicle-mounted fire pump has a conventional speed increase ratio of 1.440. (3) Double-piston vacuum pump: Mainly composed of a piston, pump casing, pump shaft, and eccentric wheel. The eccentric wheel is fitted with a piston guide rod and a pump casing steel sleeve. Inlet and outlet valves are installed at both ends of the piston pump. When the electromagnetic clutch engages, the piston pump starts working. During operation, the eccentric action of the eccentric wheel causes the piston to reciprocate, gradually expelling air from the pump and pipeline, thus improving air quality.
