On December 9, 2019, three units ISUZU foam fire trucks purchased by a Nigerian client departed from the POWERSTAR factory. They are expected to arrive soon in Lagos, Nigeria, providing strong support for local fire safety. The client, a well-known large-scale trader in Nigeria, successfully won a government procurement project in Lagos. The client learned about our products through our official website and, after multiple in-depth communications and technical exchanges, highly approved of the ISUZU foam fire engine solution we provided, ultimately deciding to purchase from us.
Client: Nigerian customer, Mr. Simon
Project: Lagos City Fire Engine Purchasing Project
Year: 2019, 12
Project Background:
Lagos is the largest city in Nigeria and one of the most densely populated cities in Africa. With the acceleration of urbanization, fire safety issues have become increasingly prominent. To enhance the city's fire emergency response capabilities, the Lagos municipal government decided to purchase a batch of high-performance fire trucks to meet the growing complexity of fire rescue demands. The three ISUZU foam tender fire trucks purchased will primarily be used for urban firefighting, chemical spill response, and other emergency rescue tasks.
The client stated that the choice of ISUZU tanker fire trucks was due to their excellent performance, reliable quality, and the comprehensive technical support provided by POWERSTAR. The client specifically mentioned, "We compared multiple suppliers and ultimately chose POWERSTAR because they not only provided detailed technical solutions but also offered full assurance in after-sales service."
The ISUZU fire trucks shipped this time adopt advanced design concepts, featuring a compact structure and comprehensive functions, capable of meeting various complex environmental firefighting needs. The vehicles mainly consist of three parts: the chassis, the upper equipment, and the water pump system, each meticulously designed and rigorously tested to ensure efficient operation in emergencies.
These three fire trucks are equipped with the ISUZU NPR 4×2 chassis, powered by a high-efficiency diesel engine with a maximum output of 190 horsepower, ensuring strong power output even when fully loaded. Additionally, the chassis is equipped with advanced suspension and braking systems, maintaining smooth driving under various road conditions and ensuring the safety of firefighters. The upper part, the core of the ISUZU foam fire truck, features a modular design equipped with an advanced foam fire suppression system and a water pump system. The foam fire suppression system can quickly generate a large amount of foam, effectively extinguishing oil and chemical fires. Equipped with a CB10/40 fire pump, it can achieve a maximum flow rate of 40L/s, with a range of over 60 meters, capable of quickly controlling the spread of fire.
After the completion of the vehicle production, the Nigerian client specially sent a technical team to our factory for vehicle inspection and training. The client's team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle's appearance, performance, and various functions, and personally test-drove the vehicles. The client expressed high satisfaction with the overall quality and craftsmanship of the vehicles, particularly praising the efficiency of the foam fire suppression system and the powerful performance of the water pump system.
