Industrial fire trucks, also named Industry fire engine or Industry heavy fire tender, are specialized fire trucks designed for special fire risks in industrial sites. All industrial fire truck from Powerstar are 100% customized.
Unlike conventional fire engines, Industrial fire trucks integrate robust fire suppression systems tailored to mitigate chemical, electrical, or hydrocarbon-based fires. Key components include high-capacity pumps (exceeding 3,000 GPM), foam proportioning systems, and chemical injectors to neutralize hazardous substances
Industrial fire trucks are designed for high-risk environments such as chemical parks, oil depots, and large storage facilities, focusing on responding to liquid fuel fires, toxic gas leaks, and large space fires. Industrial fire trucks are equipped with high-flow water pumps (100-400L/s) and water cannons with a range of more than 100 meters to meet the needs of long-distance fire suppression.
Industry fire truck are mainly categorized in 4 series:
♦ CAFS Fire Truck
♦ Dry Powder Fire Truck
♦ Water Foam fire tender
♦ Heavy industrial pumper
Industrial fire trucks have become core equipment for industrial fire prevention and control through professional configuration (such as large-flow pump groups, multi-type fire extinguishing agent systems) and scene-adaptive design (explosion-proof, high-lift, and wear-resistant).
1, Typical application scenarios
Fire fighting in high-risk industrial areas
For fires in refinery tanks, oxygen is isolated by covering with foam (spraying multiples of 400-1000 times), and dry powder is used to inhibit chemical chain reactions to achieve rapid fire control.
2, Hazardous chemical leak disposal
Use explosion-proof fire trucks to carry adsorption pads, cofferdam tools and decontamination equipment to prevent leakage from igniting or contamination from spreading.
3, Fire scene attack in complex structures
The high-rise spray truck uses the lifting arm to penetrate into the densely packed area of the device and remotely locate the fire source; the combined vehicle can suppress multiple types of fire points at the same time to avoid re-ignition.
Industrial fire trucks have the ability to deliver large amounts of fire extinguishing agents. In addition to conventional water tanks, they are also equipped with fire extinguishing agent systems such as foam and dry powder.
