The foam liquid is sprayed onto the fire source through a fire monitor(PL8/48 fire monitor) or water gun, quickly covering the surface of the burning object, isolating air and heat transfer, thereby achieving the purpose of fire extinguishing. How to use the suction pipe of the foam fire truck to absorb water correctly? 1. First park the fire truck next to the water intake point, as close to the water source as possible to shorten the use length of the suction pipe.   2. Connect the suction pipe head to tail according to the distance of water intake, and connect one end to the fire pump, and connect the other end to the water filter and put it into the water.   3. Start the engine of the fire truck. Step on the clutch pedal, hang up the power take-off (water pump switch).Slowly release the clutch pedal, and then start the vacuum pump to absorb water.   Precautions for using the suction pipe 1. Do not forcefully drag the suction pipe on the ground to avoid wearing the aluminum interface;   2. The interface must be tightly connected when using it. In order to prevent air leakage and water from being sucked up, when absorbing water from an open-air water source, a water filter should be installed at the end of the suction pipe, and the depth of the water filter from the water surface should be at least 20cm~30cm to prevent vortices from appearing on the water surface and sucking in air. At the same time, the water filter should be prevented from contacting the mud surface of the water source.
