On August 11, 2017, POWERSTAR delivered 4 units HOWO dry powder fire trucks to Algeria, marking another significant breakthrough for POWERSTAR in the international fire truck market. These HOWO fire trucks will be used for firefighting operations in Oran, Algeria, providing efficient and reliable fire rescue support to the region.
Client: Algeria customer, Mr. Ben
Project: Firefighting project in Oran, Algeria
Year: 2017, 08
Project Backgrouond:
The client for this collaboration is a trader from Algeria. Oran, where the client is based, is a major economic hub and port city in Algeria, with dense industrial facilities and a high risk of fire incidents. The client aimed to enhance local firefighting capabilities by introducing high-performance fire trucks. Through a friend's recommendation, the client contacted POWERSTAR and became highly interested in our professional expertise and product quality.
Upon receiving the client's requirements, POWERSTAR's sales team quickly formed a dedicated task force to gain an in-depth understanding of Oran's firefighting needs and local environmental conditions. Based on the client's specific requirements, the team tailored a detailed solution, recommending the HOWO 6×4 dry powder fire engine. This vehicle not only meets the firefighting needs of various scenarios but also boasts efficient and reliable operational performance. After multiple rounds of communication and technical confirmation, the client decided to purchase 4 units of this model.
The delivered HOWO tender fire trucks are modified based on the HOWO 6×4 chassis, integrating three firefighting functions: dry powder, water, and foam. Their core advantages are reflected in the following aspects:
1. Multi-functional Firefighting System
• Water Tank System: The vehicle is equipped with a 12,000L large-capacity water tank, ensuring a continuous supply of water for extinguishing Class A fires (e.g., fires involving solid materials like wood and paper).
• Foam System: The 2,000L foam tank features an advanced foam mixing device, capable of quickly generating high-efficiency firefighting foam for extinguishing Class B fires (e.g., fires involving liquids like oil and chemicals).
• Dry Powder System: The 1CBM dry powder tank is equipped with a dry powder cannon, enabling rapid suppression of Class C fires (e.g., fires involving gases like natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas) as well as electrical fires.
2. High-efficiency Fire Pump and Fire Monitor
The vehicle is equipped with a CB10/60 fire pump, capable of delivering a flow rate of 6,0L/s and a pressure of 1.0MPa, ensuring a large supply of firefighting media in a short time. The PL48 fire monitor has a long range and wide coverage, allowing firefighting operations to be conducted from a safe distance. The addition of the dry powder cannon further enhances the vehicle's firefighting capabilities, making it more effective in handling complex fire scenarios.
The 4 units HOWO powder fire trucks introduced will primarily be used for firefighting operations in Oran's industrial zones, port areas, and urban core regions. These areas face high fire risks and diverse fire types, making traditional single-function fire trucks inadequate. The introduction of HOWO firefighting trucks will significantly improve Oran's fire response capabilities, providing a solid foundation for the city's safe development.
As a leading enterprise in the special vehicle manufacturing sector, POWERSTAR has performed exceptionally well in the international market in recent years. Our products have successfully entered markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions, earning widespread acclaim. The delivery of 4 units HOWO dry powder foam fire trucks to Algeria is another important achievement in POWERSTAR's internationalization strategy.
