Water spraying and fire extinguishing system of water tank fire truck
The water spraying and fire extinguishing system of water tank fire truck is one of its core functions. The system is mainly composed of water pumps, pipelines, valves, water diversion devices and water spraying devices, which work together to achieve efficient fire extinguishing effects.
The water pump is the power source of the water spraying and fire extinguishing system of the water tank fire truck, which is responsible for pressurizing the water in the water tank and delivering it to the water spraying device.
The pipeline system is mainly composed of water pump suction pipeline, rear water inlet pipeline, check valve, upper water outlet pipeline, side water outlet pipeline, medium and high pressure water outlet pipeline, etc. These pipelines are responsible for delivering the water pressurized by the water pump to the water spraying device, and adjusting the flow direction and flow rate of the water flow as needed. The valve is used to control the opening and closing of the pipeline, as well as to adjust the flow rate and pressure of the water flow. Common valves include ball valves, gate valves, etc.
The water diversion device is an important part of the water tank fire truck's water spraying and fire extinguishing system. It is used to suck the air in the fire pump and the water suction pipeline to form a vacuum in the pump, thereby introducing water from the low-level water source into the pump.
The water spray device is the terminal actuator of the water tank fire truck's water spraying and fire extinguishing system. It is responsible for spraying pressurized water onto the fire source in an appropriate form. Common water spray devices include water guns, water cannons, etc. Water guns are usually used for close-range firefighting, and the spray angle and flow rate can be adjusted; while water cannons are suitable for long-range firefighting, with a larger spray range and stronger impact. These water spray devices can adjust the spray mode according to the fire and the on-site conditions, such as direct spray, spray, etc., to adapt to different types of fire scenes.
Working principle
When the water tank fire truck arrives at the fire scene, the firefighters will first start the water pump and introduce the water from the low-level water source into the pump through the water diversion device. Then, according to the fire and the situation on the scene, select the appropriate water spray device and spray mode. By adjusting the opening and closing status of the pipeline and valves, and adjusting the speed and pressure of the water pump and other parameters, firefighters can control the direction, flow and pressure of the water flow, and spray the pressurized water in an appropriate form to the fire source. During the firefighting process, firefighters need to pay close attention to the fire scene and be ready to adjust the water spray device and spray mode at any time to ensure the firefighting effect.
